The wolf catches the lioness off guard and steals her catch. Observe how the hyenas quickly gather the remains that the attacking wolf left behind after it fled. The young lioness must now fend for herself, having been injured, she has not the strength to defend her catch. She watches helplessly while the hyena gather what little is left of it.
